Health and safety is an area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goals of occupational health and safety programs include fostering a safe and healthy work environment. Health and safety can be important for moral, legal, and financial reasons. All organisations have a duty of care to ensure that employees and any other person who may be affected by the companies undertaking remain safe at all times. Health and safety may involve interactions among many subject areas. Main topics of subject: definition,  national legislation and public organizations ,  government organizations, roles and responsibilities of health and safety professionals, workplace hazards – physical, mechanical, chemical, psychological e. c.,  safety by mechanical, civil, electrical industry, employee injury and illnesses.
