Basics of mechatronics 2

Course Information

This subject is based on Basics of mechatronics I. It comprises modeling mechanical, eletrical, thermal, fluid and complex systems. Heavyside, Dirac, sinusoidal imputs. Periodic inputs: the Fourier series expansion.. Methods of deriving equations of system. Solving first and second order differential equations in time domain.  Solving differential equations in operator domain: the Laplace transformation. Transfer function of simple dynamic systems, such as DC motor. Dinamics of DC motor drives: inertial and technologycal loads. Introduction to numerical methods. Calculating roots of transcendent equations: iteration and tangent method. Euler-Cautchy method for solving differential equations numerically.
