Electroactive polimer actuator design

EAP (Electro Active Polymer) technology has only been known for some years. Unfortunately manufacturers of EAP materials present very few information to design engineers. This research derives expression from diagrams given by EAP film manufacturer in order to enhance actuator design. The main goal of project is to demostrate the actuator design process creating a operable EAP actuator (see below).
